Students from five colleges and universities of Luzerne County headed downtown to show off county seat Wilkes-Barre as their college town. Courtney Lynn Senghaas (sophomore communications major at Penn State Wilkes-Barre), Jared Menghini (junior business administration major at King’s College), Michael R. B. Calore (sophomore secondary education major at Luzerne County Community College), Tashara Elizabeth Teart (senior elementary/special/early childhood education major at Misericordia University) and Xiaoqiao Zhang (junior communications major at Wilkes University) took a break from their classes to explore Kirby Park, the Market Street Bridge and Public Square.
